When steering wheel is turned to left or right.A rubbing sound is heard.Its like Groaning noise.
This is a common problem and there is a TSB on this. Many other Toyota Camry users too have heard about this noise.
The lower steering shaft is rubbing and making noise because the shaft is dry against the rubber boot that it goes through. Use silicone paste or brake caliper boot lube to lube the shaft where it goes through the boot. This should take care of the problem.
