The DTC / OBD II code P0171 basically indicates and means System to lean on Bank1 Sensor.
In All it says that engine is running too lean. This basically means there's not enough fuel being metered for the amount of air being measured. The most common problem for this code is usually related to the mass airflow sensor being contaminated. The tiny resistor wires get contaminated with dirt and grit and this insulates the sensing ability and causes the system to run lean. Usually the sensor wires can be cleaned once the mass airflow sensor is removed and then spray mass airflow sensor cleaner or brake cleaner into the tube and blow dry. The other thing that needs to be checked is intake leaks any vacuum lines or intake leaks will cause the system to run lean.
This will help.
Thanks.
