Using Aftermarket Air Filter?

Will the Engine get Affected by Using After market Air Filters instead of OEM air filters.

K&N makes a good aftermarket air filter. There are plenty of these that are as good if not better than the factory paper filter. It should not have any effect on your vehicle. The only downside to the filters that use oil bath solutions it can contaminate the mass airflow sensor over a long period of time and this needs to be cleaned. If you're planning on switching over to synthetic oil you need to continue to use synthetic oil and not switch back. There's nothing wrong with synthetic oil it does give you a little extra time between oil changes.

Please Note:  You should not have an issue with any one of these. Just keep in mind that the cheaper the filter the less quality you're going find. Price usually dictates quality in most cases.
